Perfect for short walks on hiking trails by my house. Fits perfectly in the running belt I got that holds my phone. I have 2 dogs a 60lb German Shepherd and a 110lb Rottie. The German Shepherd is picky with what she drinks from and usually won’t drink from the gulpy I used to carry bt she loves this bottle since the cup part is deeper and wider. My Rottie, isn’t as picky but you could tell appreciated that he could actually lap up the water a lot easier with this bottle. Best part is that it is hands free so I can keep the leashes form tangling with my one hand while I use my other to pull the bottle out and press the button to start releasing the water.

Works great! Our pup enjoys using it and it doesn’t spill while he laps it up. He’s a 5 month old basset/pit mix so his snout fits right in. Any unfinished water easily goes back into the bottle when button is pressed. Locking mechanism is quite difficult to slide back and forth but worth it somit doesn’t accidentally unlock. We don’t use the caribener much as it’s quite awkward to have the bottle dangle from the leash or pant loop so we store it in our backpack when not in use. We get compliments all the time when seen used with our pup. We haven’t experienced any external leaks as other have mentioned - we make sure the rubber ring is always in place and close it firmly (never too tight). The only downside we see is the plastic is quite hard somif this were to be full of water and dropped on concrete, it’s sure to crack.
